Live long. Live well.
Good questions, good company, and a seat saved for you.
The Long Table brings women together in Napa Valley to live well, age well, and keep each other company along the way. Our lives are full, often with people we love counting on us. This is a place to make time for ourselves, too.
Over good food and lively conversation, we ask questions, learn from experts, and compare notes on staying healthy and enjoying life. We make room for friendship, laughter, and ways to show up for each other and our community.
Think of it as a dinner party with footnotes.

The Long Table Cookbook
We’re bringing together our founding 40 members to create The Long Table Cookbook. Each member will share a favorite family recipe, reimagined to be as nourishing as it is delicious. Family favorites, the stories behind them, and something good to bring to the table.

Four women. One very good question.
“How can we care for ourselves and one another as we grow older?”
Between us, we’re raising teenagers, cheering on adult children, welcoming grandchildren, caring for the people we love, and living with loss. Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s have touched our families. We know how much depends on our health, and we want to stay strong, curious, and connected to the people and passions we love.
We come from art and design, movement and wellness, business, law, and philanthropy. We created the gathering we wanted to be invited to: a place to ask honest questions, learn from experts, and compare notes with women from every walk of life.
You can share what’s working, talk about what isn’t, or simply listen until you’re ready. We hope you’ll leave with something useful: a new idea, a new friend, or a better reason to stretch.
What if the best is yet to come?
With the wisdom we’ve earned and the curiosity we’ve kept, there is still so much to try, learn, and enjoy. We’re not waiting for someday. Together, let’s make today as good as it gets.
Serious conversations, with room for joy
Body, mind, heart & spirit.
These parts of our lives are connected. We’ll explore ways to care for all of them, with room for friendship, creativity, and laughter.
Physical
Strength, movement, rest, and nourishment that keep us doing what we love.
Mental
Brain health, clear thinking, and the curiosity to keep learning.
Emotional
Room for the joys and the hard parts, and friends to share both.
Spiritual
Purpose, meaning, gratitude, and whatever grounds you.
Curious, and careful
Real research.
Honest answers.
We invite physicians, researchers, and other experts to help us make sense of what we know, what looks promising, and what we’re still figuring out. After all, “a study found” and “we know” are not the same sentence.
We want to understand what’s useful for women today, what’s still on the horizon, and what deserves a little skepticism.
What we know
Strong, consistent evidence worth building habits around.
What’s emerging
Promising research to follow with curiosity and patience.
What we’re still asking
Open questions that deserve an honest conversation.
Our guiding philosophy
Gather · Grow · Give
The order is intentional. First we gather. Then we grow. As our community grows, we give.
Gather
Friendship, conversation, and shared experiences come first. Trust makes everything else possible.
Grow
We learn from experts and each other, gaining practical tools for our health and the wisdom that doesn’t come with an instruction manual.
Give
We show up for one another, then reach beyond our table—making room for women who couldn’t otherwise join us and supporting causes close to our hearts.
